Membership in the Marion County Medical Society has many benefts. The MCMS is an organization that prides itself on a long history of physician advocacy while enabling physicians opportunities to intereact with their colleagues both professionally and socially. We understand that practicing medicine is difficult and your MCMS membership helps you practice more effectively in the following ways:
 

 

Blue Cross/Blue Shield Major Medical/Hospitalization Insurance

(Certain conditions apply).  MCMS membership is required for all physicians in group practice.

Physician Referral Service

As a service to the public, the MCMS offers an information and referral bureau. 
Patients may call the Society office and receive
educational, specialty, and board certification information

about member physicians.

Interpreting Services

Reimbursement is provided to member physicians for deaf interpreting services. 
Submit copy of paid invoice to the MCMS for reimbursement.  
Collective membership reimbursement not to exceed $1,000 annually.
